Business Services Internship Opportunities

Business Services has two (2) experiential learning internship positions available this Spring 2017.  The internships are available within the following departments:

Bookstore

Marketing & Communications Specialist

The intern will work with the Bookstore and Business Services to:
– Assist in developing the Bookstore brand; in-line with the overall Business Services goal
-Increase awareness of Bookstore offerings
– Identify communication opportunities and avenues to provide changes and updates to members of the on/off campus community
– Research methods to increase in-store and online traffic
– Research industry practices for ideas, areas of improvement, etc.
– Increase department sustainability
– Create a comprehensive report to include: approach, research, planning, design and execution of suggested Bookstore enhancements

EagleOne

Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

The intern will work with the EagleOne Card Center and Business Services to:
– Assist in developing the EagleOne brand; in-line with the overall Business Services goal
-Increase awareness of EagleOne offerings
– Website review
– Department use of EagleVision
– Identify communication opportunities and avenues to provide changes and updates to members of the on/off campus community
– Create a comprehensive report to include: approach, research, planning, design and execution of suggested EagleOne changes

Prerequisites

Qualified candidates must be:
– Organized and self-motivated
– Able to research information using multiple means
– Possess excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
– Adept at developing on-campus and off campus resources
– Able to work with multiple on-campus and off-campus groups and organizations
– Knowledgeable on software programs: Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe
– WordPress experience (preferred, not required)
