Office Phone: 540-654-1199 Office Fax: 540-654-1110
Services Offered:
Set-up for Events – Based on the form that is submitted, we determine the best equipment that we have to use for your event. We have a wide range of equipment that can work in conjunction with existing equipment in the room or we can bring in an entire set-up specific for your event. The AV Staff will have your event set-up and ready to go at least 30 minutes before your event begins.
During Event – An AV staff member can be requested to stay during your event to deal with any AV needs if you wish. They will work with your presenters to make sure their presentations get loaded properly and make sure the equipment is functional at all times during your event.
Tear Down after the Event – The AV staff will return at the end of your event to secure all AV equipment that was used.
Audio Recording of Events – We have a portable CD recorder that we can use to audio record your event. This recording is for archival purposes only. For professional quality recording, you will have to hire an outside sound company, who is trained in audio recordings.
Steps to Request Services:
Fill out the Non-Academic Multimedia Form and submit it to the Non-Academic Office 2 weeks in advance of your event. If you are not sure what you need, please contact the Non-Academic Multimedia Support Services Office and speak with a technician who will be happy to assist you in determining what you will need for your event. Forms may be faxed, e-mailed, or mailed directly to our office. The AV Staff will contact you 2 days before your event to confirm your set-up time and needs.
