UMW’s General Information about Financial Aid and the Application Process – CANCELLED

The Office of Financial Aid at the University of Mary Washington has made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s seminar entitled “General Information about Financial Aid and the Application Process.”  This decision was made due to the impending snow storm forecasted to affect our area this evening.

We thank you for your interest in our seminar and invite you to view the presentation online here: http://adminfinance.umw.edu/financialaid/files/2012/11/Slideshow-General_Information_Session_13-14.pdf.  The presentation is very comprehensive, but if you have any questions regarding the financial aid process we would be glad assist, so do not hesitate to contact us.  Additionally, we would like to extend the invitation for you to register for our next seminar series, “Assistance with Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).”  Multiple seminars will be taking place in February.  More information can be found online at http://adminfinance.umw.edu/financialaid/the-university-of-mary-washington-presents-applying-for-financial-aid-the-first-step-to-college/.  These seminars are geared towards completing the FAFSA and will offer hands-on assistance in a UMW computer lab.

Finally, financial aid administrators from institutions across Virginia will be offering additional help on “Super Saturday,” February 9th.   We have attached a flyer with information on this opportunity.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions.  We hope to see you at one of our February seminars and offer our best wishes for you and your family as you begin the exciting journey toward college.
