During each stage of the search process, where careers is used to manage the recruitment of wage employees, careers needs to be updated to show the candidates’ current statuses.
- Candidates who have not met the required qualifications for an interview will be contacted by email via careers. Hiring managers will activate the email reply by changing the applicants’ status in the careers site to “Not Interviewed- Initial Screening.”
- Change the statuses of candidates who were selected for interview to “Selected for interview”. For candidates who remain under consideration, but are not your first choice for interview, please leave their status as “in progress” until you make your selection.
- Once the candidate agrees to the interview, change the status to “Interviewed.” If the candidate declines the interview, change the status to “Declined the interview.”
