DHRM Policy 1.70 –Termination / Separation From State Service

An employee who chooses to terminate employment is expected to submit notice of their intended separation in writing to the Office of Human Resources, AA/EEO as far in advance as possible;  s/he should also submit a copy to his or her supervisor.

An A/P Faculty member who chooses to terminate employment is expected to notify his or her supervisor in writing at least two-months prior to the effective date of resignation.

When an employee separates from the University, s/he must complete an exit process with his or her supervisor to resolve University accounts, to return University property, and to finalize other personnel matters with the Office of Human Resources.
