UMW’s retired faculty and staff members continue to be important contributors to our community and for that reason they are afforded the same parking rights as those offered to current employees.
Retired faculty and staff can come to the Parking Management Services Office in person located in Lee Hall anytime between Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (closed on weekends) with a valid state registration, valid drivers license and UMW ID. Retired faculty and staff can also send an email stating your phone number, vehicle information, (license tag number, make, color, and year) to the Parking Management Services Supervisor, Maie Makin, at mmakin2@umw.edu. Decal will be mailed.
There is no charge for retired faculty/staff member parking and those individuals may park in any faculty/staff lots (blue decals). Parking in residential or commuter student lots is prohibited.
