The cost of an Eagle Landing Parking Deck decal is $375.00 and entitles the user to park in the Eagle Landing parking deck as well as the use of certain lots on the Fredericksburg Campus at specific times/days as noted below.
PLEASE NOTE: Eagle Landing Residents with a vehicle are required to purchase the green parking deck decal.
Parking in the first two levels of the deck (levels 1 and 2) is not permitted as those spaces are designated for use by the commercial enterprises in Eagle Village. Any vehicle in these locations without the appropriate commercial parking pass will be towed at the owner’s expense.
PLEASE NOTE: Parking Management Services and UMW Police cannot assist with any vehicle towed from Eagle Landing.
Ground parking spaces next to Eagle Landing (except those on the north side of the north building), the first two floors of the parking deck and all spaces in the Eagle Landing retail parking lot are NOT for use by students as they are intended for retail clients only. Any vehicle parked overnight in the retail lots will be towed, at the owner’s expense. Eagle Landing Residents or Campus Residents are not permitted to park at the rear of the Eagle Landing Residential Building because these spaces are designated for guests.
THE DEAL WITH DECALS
After obtaining an Eagle Landing green decal and BEFORE placing it on a vehicle, the Eagle Landing resident student must take the green decal to the front desk of Eagle Landing in order to be issued an RFID parking deck “gate” control device. This device will operate the parking deck gate, allowing access to the restricted parking area.
Once the gate control device has been obtained, it is the student’s responsibility to display their permit on the left (driver’s side) rear window so it can be easily observed.
Other campus Parking lot uses by EL students with green decals:
- EL residents with green decals may park in the UMW Apartment spaces located in the William Street lot, except between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Mondays-Thursdays, and between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Fridays.
- Parking in the spaces surrounding the UMW Apartments is NOT authorized, except for the William Street lot as indicated above.
EAGLE LANDING GUESTS
Guests must display a temporary dash pass that may be obtained from Parking Management, the Communication Center or the Eagle Landing Front Desk: Temporary Guest Dash Pass
