Vendor Resources

The University of Mary Washington greatly values and appreciates its Supplier community!  Below are valuable resources for doing business in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

reminder

University employees shall not contractually commit the University without receiving prior authorization.  University students are not authorized to sign contracts or commit the University.

 eVA – Virginia’s eProcurement Portal

The University of Mary Washington is mandated by the Commonwealth of Virginia to accomplish its procurement transactions by employing the eVA electronic procurement system. In order to comply with the mandate, we require all vendors to register with eVA.  See the eVA New Registration guides and tutorials for assistance.  By law, the University cannot contract with a  non-eVA registered vendor.

Vendors can visit the eVA Vendor Self Service page for information on solicitation opportunities with UMW and other state agencies.  Check out this video on how to perform Basic Search Solicitations, as well as many other eVA Video Tutorials are available on many other eVA features to help grow you business opportunities with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
