| The Green UMW working group is pleased to announce the availability of an alternative to plastic K-Cups®, right here on campus!
The UMW Bookstore offers Boyd’s Coffee compostable pods, which will work in most brewers that accept K-Cup® portion packs, excluding Keurig® 2.0 brewers. With a bio-based filter and a ring made of coffee chaff, Boyd’s pods provide a sustainable single-serve coffee solution that supports UMW’s goal of reducing plastic waste. Mix and match by purchasing individual pods, or order a single blend by the case. (When purchasing a case, please allow 5 business days between order date and delivery to the Bookstore.)
