A\/P Faculty are appointed into non-tenure positions and serve at the pleasure of the President of the University.\u00a0 Appointments to all administrative and professional faculty positions are term appointments.<\/p>\n
The President, on the recommendation of the appropriate Vice President, appoints A\/P Faculty.\u00a0 Appointments are usually appointed for a contract period of one fiscal year, from June 25 to June 24 of the following year.<\/p>\n
A\/P Faculty are reviewed for reappointment each year based on satisfactory performance and University need.\u00a0 Reappointments are effective June 25 of each year unless the A\/P Faculty member receives appropriate written notice.\u00a0 In rare cases, a different effective date may apply as indicated in the employment contract.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
