{"id":21521,"date":"2013-07-30T13:47:43","date_gmt":"2013-07-30T13:47:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/adminfinance.umw.edu\/parking\/?page_id=21521"},"modified":"2026-04-07T15:41:35","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T19:41:35","slug":"parking-reservations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/adminfinance.umw.edu\/parking\/parking-reservations\/","title":{"rendered":"Parking Reservations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section class=\"wp-block-umw-hero alignfull umw-custom-block umw-hero umw-hero--dark-text umw-hero--media-float-right umw-hero--white umw-hero--with-no-media\"><div class=\"umw-hero__inner\"><div class=\"umw-hero__media\"><\/div><div class=\"umw-hero__title\"><div class=\"container\"><div class=\"umw-hero__title__wrapper\"><div class=\"umw-hero__eyebrow\">parking management<\/div><h1 class=\"umw-hero__title__header\">Parking Reservations<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-umw-hero-ctas alignfull\"><div class=\"umw-hero__links\"><div class=\"container\"><div class=\"umw-hero__links__wrapper\">\n\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-parking-reservations\">Parking Reservations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the UMW community may reserve parking spaces\/lots on campus, as available. &nbsp;The reservations can be for temporary use (events) or permanent spaces for departmental use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-temporary-reservation\"><strong>Temporary Reservation:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If space\/lot is needed for an event or short period of time, please complete the <strong><a title=\"Temporary Parking Request\" href=\"https:\/\/adminfinance.umw.edu\/parking\/parking-request-form\/\">TEMPORARY REQUEST ONLINE FORM<\/a>,<\/strong> at least five (5) business days in advance of date needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Requests will be reviewed as soon they are submitted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The requestor will be contacted only if there are further questions or if the reservation is not available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-permanent-reservation\"><strong>Permanent Reservation:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Availability of permanent reserved spaces is limited and requests are granted only in special circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please complete the <a title=\"Permanent Parking Request\" href=\"https:\/\/adminfinance.umw.edu\/parking\/permanent-parking-request\/\"><strong>PERMANENT REQUEST ONLINE FORM<\/strong><\/a>, if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Space is needed for permanent use with &#8216;reserved&#8217; sign\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once the request has been received by Parking Management, it will be submitted to the respective department VP\u00a0for approval<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If approved by department VP, the request will be forwarded to the President&#8217;s Cabinet for review and decision<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Parking Management Office will notify the requester once a decision has been provided <strong>PLEASE NOTE:<\/strong> The entire process takes a minimum of thirty (30) days from date request received.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parking Reservations Members of the UMW community may reserve parking spaces\/lots on campus, as available. &nbsp;The reservations can be for temporary use (events) or permanent spaces for departmental use.
