Appealing a Citation Online<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To appeal a citation use the FlexPort portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty, Staff and Students with a UMW login should use Self-Service Banner <\/a>\u00a0to appeal. Once logged in select my Banner Resources then Parking Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appeal Guidelines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Any person who has been issued a parking citation may file an appeal provided that no more than twenty (20) calendar days\u00a0elapse since the issuance of the citation. A denied citation must be paid\u00a0within ten (10)\u00a0days after the date of denial. An investigation to\u00a0determine whether or not a violation has occurred and if there were significant\u00a0mitigating circumstances surrounding the parking infraction to warrant excusing\u00a0the fine, will be conducted. The appeal action will halt the billing process until a decision is made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
