Graduate and professional students may apply for PLUS Loans for their own educational expenses. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply.
Note: In order to be eligible for a Direct Grad PLUS loan you must first utilize the maximum amount of your Direct Unsubsidized loan offer for the academic year. This is in your best interest as a borrower since the Direct Unsubsidized loan has a better interest rate and origination fee than that of a Grad PLUS loan. If you are unsure of your eligibility for Grad PLUS please contact the Office of Financial Aid for further assistance.
