Payroll

The Payroll Office is responsible for payroll related payments and leave records for all employees and student workers located at the University of Mary Washington, the James Monroe Presidential Center, James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library and the Gari Melchers Home and Studio at Belmont. Changes of name, address, withholding amounts and direct deposit information should all be immediately forwarded to the Payroll Office. This will ensure accurate paychecks, earnings and leave records.

Payroll forms, including those for direct deposit, federal and state tax withholdings and retirement contributions, may be found on the Forms page listed to the left.

Note: Payline, the website used to view your payroll earnings notices and W-2 statements  has been updated. If you are using Payline to access your payroll information, you must be aware of these security changes to successfully access your information. The Payline Security Enhancements memo, prepared by the Virginia Department of Accounts, explains the new password standards and the details of all the Payline security changes.

If you have not used Payline in the past, go to https://payline.doa.virginia.gov and view the PowerPoint presentation, “How to Become a Payline Participant”, shown on the right side of the Log On screen, to learn about establishing your own Payline account. If you would like more information or need assistance, you may contact the University of Mary Washington Payroll Office at phone number 654-1045.

Employees may access current information about their earnings and benefits by visiting the Virginia Department of Accounts Payline website. Please use the links along the top of this page for information about signing up or to directly access the site.

The Payroll Office is located in Eagle Village, Suite 480, Rooms 401-403. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
