UMW Policy – Smoking

The Commonwealth of Virginia promotes a productive and cooperative working environment.  Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and UMW and State vehicles; the right of the nonsmoker to protect from smoke his or her health takes precedence over an individual’s desire to smoke.
