Annual Supplier Expo

Since 2016, UMW’s Procurement Services Department has hosted an annual Supplier Expo in March. This event is an opportunity for both buyers and vendors from UMW and other agencies to strengthen existing relationships and make new contacts for a varied group of goods and services.

UMW 2020 Supplier Expo was a great success!

Procurement Services hosted over 50 vendors and nearly 200 attendees!
Many new connections were made; business to client, and business to business.

New in 2020: “Doing Business with State Agencies” Info Session

eVA experts, UMW’s Economic Development partners, and UMW Contract Officers offered an informative discussion session “Doing Business with State Agencies” prior to the opening of the Supplier Expo. Topics included how best to do business with Higher Education, State Agencies, and Local Government as well as further educational opportunities offered by the UMW Small Business Development Center.
