What is an In-Band Adjustment?

There is no centralized funding for In-band adjustments at this time.

An In-band salary adjustment is a non-competitive pay practice which allows management the flexibility to adjust individual salaries within their Pay Band based on a change in duties (higher level).

Salary changes for In-band adjustments must consider all Pay Factors.

An employee may receive more than one In-band adjustment within a fiscal year.

The employee’s base salary must not exceed the maximum of the assigned Pay Band.

Please see the eligibility section for information on length of employment and time performing the new duties.
