In-Band Process

Step 1 Supervisor Recommendation Using a specified worksheet, Supervisors who conduct classified employee evaluations and/or have authority to hire/terminate wage employees may recommend employees for an in-band adjustment.
Step 2 Division Review and Approval In-band Requests are reviewed and approved by Designated In-band Supervisors and cabinet vice presidents.
Step 3 Human Resources Compliance and Review The Office of Human Resources reviews recommendations.
Step 4 Green Light Committee (GLC) Review and President Approval The Green Light Committee (comprised of the cabinet vice presidents) reviews recommendations for President approval.
Step 5 Communication of Decision Employee receiving an in-band salary adjustment will receive a pay increase letter.
