Required Reporting

Child Abuse & Neglect
University Employees are required by law to report suspected instances of child abuse.
Outside Employment
Employees must receive approval for outside employment to ensure that there are no instances of conflict of interest.
Standards of Conduct The Standards of Conduct policy outlines the Commonwealth’s Standards of Conduct and the disciplinary process that the University must utilize if there is an instance of workplace issues.
UMW Conflicts of Interest Policy
Designated employees must file a Conflict of Interest statement.
Fraud, Waste, and Abuse – UMW Policy
State and University employees are required or urged to report on specific matters. Required reporting topics include: Child Abuse & Neglect, Outside Employment, Convictions, Conflicts of Interest, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.
