This increase occurs every three years until members reach the maximum 4% contribution, which qualifies them for the full 2.5% employer match. Tuition Reimbursement Applications Due April 26
Enrollment is currently open for Tuition Reimbursement (courses outside of UMW) for courses starting July 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024. All applications must be submitted by Friday, April 26, 2024. Please note: the Cabinet agreed to expand the Tuition Reimbursement Program to include certificate programs. However, any and all courses associated with the certificate program must be credit-bearing. The complete policy and procedures are posted online; some important and key provisions are listed below. One of the our vendors, Washington National Insurance, will be on campus Friday, March 1,. to offer guaranteed issued life insurance and supplemental health insurance options. Current policy holders can stop in and review existing coverage and make any necessary adjustments. These plans allow coverage for non-immediate family members and in-laws as well as an employee’s adult child and grandchildren. Employees can sign up at any time during the year, however at special enrollments like this one, coverage is guaranteed and no medical underwriting is needed. They will be located in Lee Hall, Rm 412 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. Washington National is a state-approved vendor who provides a group discount for state employees.
