One of the our vendors, Washington National Insurance, will be on campus Friday, March 1,. to offer guaranteed issued life insurance and supplemental health insurance options. Current policy holders can stop in and review existing coverage and make any necessary adjustments. These plans allow coverage for non-immediate family members and in-laws as well as an employee’s adult child and grandchildren. Employees can sign up at any time during the year, however at special enrollments like this one, coverage is guaranteed and no medical underwriting is needed. They will be located in Lee Hall, Rm 412 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.
Washington National is a state-approved vendor who provides a group discount for state employees. They are one of the providers listed under The Provider Network, administered by the Virginia Department of Accounts, The Provider Network is listed on the DHRM website under Employee Discounts. They will be on campus and are providing an opportunity for UMW employees to learn more.
