DHRM Policy 1.70 –Termination / Separation From State Service

An employee who chooses to terminate employment is expected to submit notice of their intended separation in writing to the Office of Human Resources, EEO as far in advance as possible;  s/he should also submit a copy to his or her supervisor.

An A/P Faculty member who chooses to terminate employment is expected to notify his or her supervisor in writing at least two-months prior to the effective date of resignation.

When an employee separates from the University, s/he must complete an exit process with his or her supervisor to resolve University accounts, to return University property, and to finalize other personnel matters with the Office of Human Resources.
