Public Health Emergency Leave (PHEL) Update

Benefit Premiums Holiday

We are pleased to announce that there will be a premium holiday for the month of December for those enrolled in the State Health Benefits Program (not including TRICARE Supplement enrollees). The premium holiday will also apply to retiree group participants (retirees, survivors, LTD participants) and Extended Coverage/COBRA participants. This means that there will be no employee/retiree or employer contribution due for one month (our December 16 and December 31 pay checks) regardless of membership level. Online EAP Services for Wage and Waived Health Care Participants

In an effort to assist with work, family and other personal issues during the COVID-19 pandemic, state wage employees may access website resources through the Anthem and Aetna Employee Assistance Programs until September 30. These online educational services are offered at no cost to wage and waived employees who are not covered by a state health plan. Individual services such as face-to-face counseling, legal consultation, telephonic financial counseling, and work/life consultation services are not included.
